Ragz Originale releases his first single this year featuring the highly talented Eliza. Ragz released his debut album in 2018 called ‘Nature’. This was a perfect introduction to Ragz Originale “the artist” as many listeners know Ragz the producer, due to his recent production credits for the likes of Denai Moore, Benny Mails and Skepta. Ragz has experienced some paramount moments within the past 5 years which include his work on Skepta’s album released in 2016, “Konnichiwa”. Ragz mentioned in his 2018 Trench interview “I think I was always an artist”. Ragz has always visualised this path for himself and knew that soon he would work on his own artistry, it was just a matter of time. The new release “4am” featuring Eliza is a smooth and soulful single from Ragz. Ragz asks Eliza “Miss call around 4am, tell me what was on your mind?” and Eliza replies in her sultry and mesmeric tone. The single has a perfect balance of both artists making this a surprising but seamless collaboration. The production from Ragz on this track further demonstrates his abilities and talent – he is a force to be reckoned with! Ragz has spoken about his next album which will be more dub influenced which doesn’t come as a surprise after listening to “4am”.
