OVO's Roy Woods Returns With New Single Touch You

Toronto's R&B vocalist Roy Woods returns today with the new love song “Touch You” on OVO Sound.

Touch You reflects on finding love in hard times. The song hears Roy Woods sing “F**k a COVID-19,” ...“Long as I get to see that body on the beach.” The familiar summer vibe/sound of the single drops at the perfect time as the UK enters a promising summer season.

This dreamy-esque single follows last year's EP 'Dem Times', which contemplated the strangeness of the pandemic’s early days. Speaking on the EP, Woods has said “Life is short and can change in a blink of an eye,”he said when the EP dropped.“Appreciate life and all 'dem times' at all times.” Touch You contrasts the idea of dealing with the 'strangeness of the pandemic' by speaking on possibly returning to some sort of normality.
