Mychelle Shares Some Intimate Life Lessons Addressed To Her 'Younger Self'

Hackney-raised singer-songwriter Mychelle has caught our attention once again with her lighter-than-air vocal tones on her newest track 'Younger Self'.

The track is mainly led by delicate guitar strums and Mychelle’s honeyed vocals which soon gives way to a steady drum accompaniment. Her lyrics are honest and introspective, spilling with lessons learnt through life and love, assuring her younger self that she’ll survive the hurt. Gabriella DeLamater is behind the vivid animations of the visuals, directed by Mychelle herself, it breathes another layer of life into her words and intentions.

Briefly speaking on the track, Mychelle says: "I wrote 'Younger Self' on my guitar at home. It is a song where I am literally talking to my younger self and helping me navigate my way through Love.''

Mychelle will be gracing the stages over the next few weeks in various spots around the UK, but first, get familiar with her sounds below.
