Marriott Bonvoy’s One Point Festival Revolution Turning Loyalty Into a Backstage Pass

What if your morning coffee could take you to Coachella? What if a routine hotel stay could land you backstage in East London? Marriott Bonvoy is challenging the idea of loyalty with the launch of its new 1 Point Drops, a series of limited releases through Marriott Bonvoy Moments that turn everyday points into once in a lifetime festival access.

The focal point of the initiative is a simple but disruptive concept. For as little as one Marriott Bonvoy point, members can unlock access to some of the most coveted music festivals in the world, in partnership with AEG Presents. That includes the sun drenched sprawl of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the country spectacle of Stagecoach Festival, the East London pulse of All Points East and the Parisian edge of Rock en Seine. But this is as much about proximity as it is about entry.

These curated packages extend to premium viewing, exclusive areas, behind the scenes access and immersive moments that bring fans closer to the artists and the atmosphere shaping global music culture. Alongside the 1 Point Drops, members can also bid through auctions on the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform, opening multiple pathways to experiences that feel intimate within events built for the masses.

The strategy taps into a deeper shift in how audiences value experiences over possessions. Music marks our timelines, from first festivals to life defining performances. Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Marriott International, describes the initiative as a way of placing members at the centre of those moments. Everyday actions such as travel, commuting or grabbing a coffee quietly accumulate into access.

Set against the sun drenched expanse of the California desert, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival remains one of the most influential cultural gatherings in the world. This year’s lineup featuring Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G cements its status as a genre shaping global stage. Through exclusive Festival Moments, members can access Weekend One from April 10 to 12 and Weekend Two from April 17 to 19, 2026, via limited 1 Point Drops and auctions. Each package includes two guest passes, festival and campground access, entry to the Main Stage and Rose Garden VIP areas, plus rare back of house moments that take fans beyond the crowd and closer to the action.

The desert soundtrack shifts as Stagecoach Festival brings country’s biggest voices including Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson and Post Malone to centre stage. Packages elevate the experience with two guest passes, Corral Standing Pit access at the front of the T Mobile Mane Stage, Diamond Lounge entry and access to exclusive saloons such as the Corral, Rhinestone and Rose Garden Saloon. With shaded seating, specialty food and beverage offerings and fully cashless bars, the experience transforms a festival weekend into something far more immersive and personal.

With this program, Marriott Bonvoy is turning loyalty into a cultural passport. The message is clear: the journey does not end at check out. It might just start at the front row.
