MARINE SERRE | FW26 Collection Reveal 'The Grace of Time' & MARINE SERRE Inspired by The Louvre

For Fall–Winter 2026, Marine Serre slows everything down.

The Grace of Time is a meditation on duration in a culture addicted to the new. This is fashion conceived for memory, for bodies, for continuity garments designed to live, gather traces and grow more resonant with wear.

The Louvre has long been part of Marine Serre’s visual universe — a matrix of symbols, myths and afterimages that quietly imprint her silhouettes. This season formalises that dialogue. Museum and atelier meet. The painter’s gesture mirrors the couturier’s hand.

At the heart of the couture offering: La Joconde, the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. Fragmented into puzzle-like pieces and reconstructed across the body, the world’s most iconic image becomes kinetic, a living canvas in motion. Across five couture looks, brushes, paint tubes and studio relics are repurposed as materials, transforming artistic cliché into craft. Reconstruction becomes creation.

This encounter extends beyond the runway. In April, a three-piece capsule collection reimagines the Mona Lisa through Marine Serre’s signature upcycling practice — cutting, reprinting and reassembling archival Louvre T-shirts and souvenirs. The icon leaves the wall and enters everyday life. The Louvre will grant carte blanche for a dedicated store window takeover, collapsing the distance between museum and wardrobe.

Throughout the collection, the House codes remain: embroidered jacquards, regenerated canvas, silk scarves, sculpted jersey and technical sportswear. Structure meets fluidity. Corsetry softens into movement. Transparency negotiates concealment and revelation. And nine years on, the moon endures not as a trend, but as continuity.

The woman imagined here is defined by presence, not performance. Composed rather than decorated. Grace, in this universe, is not ornament, it is endurance.

To take time is to create value. To preserve is to design the future.

The Grace of Time is not about fashion at the moment. It is fashion as memory in motion.
