Leeds-based trio Gotts Street Park have announced their second studio album, Somewhere Between, set for release on 16 October.

Arriving three years after their acclaimed debut On The Inside, the forthcoming project sees the group expand beyond the soul, jazz and hip-hop influences that have shaped much of their work so far. Somewhere Between draws inspiration from folk, psychedelic and Americana sounds while retaining the warm, collaborative approach that has become synonymous with the band's output.

The album features an impressive list of collaborators including Celeste, Matt Maltese, Pip Millett, Olive Jones, anaiis, Rosie Lowe and Sofia & The Antoinettes. Running throughout the project is a focus on connection and creativity, with the band describing the album as a reflection of the space that collaboration creates between people, ideas and experiences.

Alongside the announcement, Gotts Street Park have shared new single Easy, featuring BRIT Award and Academy Award nominee Celeste.

The release follows lead single Some Birds Don't Fly, which arrived earlier this year and offered an early glimpse into the album's more reflective and expansive sound. Together, the two singles point towards a project that feels both familiar and refreshingly different for the trio.

The announcement arrives as Gotts Street Park continue their Somewhere Here World Tour, which began earlier this month at the Montreal Jazz Festival and will conclude with their biggest headline show to date at London's Roundhouse on 25 November. The group are also set to appear at the first London edition of The Roots Picnic.
