Goldlink's High-Strung 'U Say' Video Brings The Song To Life

'U Say' Is one of the first few singles released from Goldlink's latest album 'Diaspora' which taps into many genres and blends smoothly and authentically. The Juls Baby produced track 'U Say' is a mid-tempo party record, with a chorus provided by East London Artist Jay Prince and a guest verse from non-other than Tyler the Creator.

The video begins with establishing the scene in a very sporadic way, already putting the viewer on edge, shortly after the scene is set Goldlink begins his vers as he is tracked walking through the crowd. The Visual takes a dark turn on Tyler's verse as in the background of him rapping his verse a man, seemingly aggressive, is held and beaten by police officers in the middle of the party as individuals stand and stare. The visual directed by Afro-fusion musician and filmmaker Santi is beginning to develop an interesting style of film making and we look forward to more from the talented creative mind.
