fakemink Releases 'Blow the Speaker' Video as a New Era Begins

fakemink steps into a defining moment with the release of the visual for Blow the Speaker, a track taken from his January EP The Boy Who Cried Terrified. Dropping in tandem with his performance at Coachella, the opening chapter of fakemink: a Terrible Beauty. - The Tour. The timing feels intentional, alonggside the world-building approach that has come to define his output.

This latest release feeds directly into anticipation for his upcoming album Terrified, set to land later this year and marking his first full-length project since London’s Saviour (2023). If The Boy Who Cried Terrified hinted at the sonic and emotional direction of this next phase, Blow the Speaker amplifies it, raw, expansive, and rooted in the collision of sound and narrative. With over 100 tracks already to his name, fakemink has built a catalogue that resists traditional structure, instead forming a self-contained universe where music, image, and storytelling operate as one continuous thread.

2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year. Alongside headline tour dates, fakemink is set to appear across major global stages including Rolling Loud, Lollapalooza Chicago, Primavera Sound, and All Points East. It’s a run that continues his rise as one of the most unconventional and prolific voices emerging from the UK underground.
