ENNY, The Eagerly Awaited New Single, SAME OLD

In the space of just a few short months and with just under twenty releases to her name, South London rapper & singer ENNY has leapt into the forefront of the public consciousness as one of the most important young voices to emerge as of late. Now, the rising star follows the release of her 'A Colors Show' charting third single Peng Black Girls Remix, with the release of her highly anticipated brand new single, Same Old, taken from her upcoming debut EP, which premiered as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio Monday evening.

ENNY's popularity has been on the rise over the last half of 2020 and the beginning of the new year, with 906,000 Spotify followers, 14.7 million Spotify streams and over 83,000 Instagram followers. Her lyrics seamlessly have connected to the masses, especially young black females who have needed a voice in the industry to relate to, to speak about their experiences and represent their everyday struggles.

Authentic, organic with natural poetry like flow and lyrics that come straight from the heart, ENNY can be said to be the presence in the UK female rap scene that's been missing.

In October of last year, ENNY released Peng Black Girls to rapturous acclaim. Written with the intention of being a unifying track among Black women everywhere, the Amia Brave-featured track became a powerful anthem across the globe with a huge fan reception that led to the single landing on the Official Charts. The single was shortly followed afterwards with the new remix feature with Jorja Smith.
