Electronic duo Daft Punk Release Their Compilation Remix Album: 'The Many Faces Of Daft Punk'

The Parisian pair have released a 4-side album The Many Faces Of Daft Punk: The Journey Through The Inner World Of Daft Punk featuring all the remixes that Daft Punk have produced for various artists such as Nile Rodgers, I:Cube, War and The Sugarhill Gang. The compilation album, presented on a limited translucent yellow and grey vinyl, feature the 'roots and influences' that have inspired Daft Punk over the years.

Spanning over the last two decades, the album presents Daft Punk's most essential works and remixes alongside music that they say has inspired them over the duration of their career. Formed back in 1993, the pair have worked with a plethora of some of the worlds most influential artists of our time from genres of disco and house. The album also features classic producers from the house music side such as Detroit's Scott Grooves featuring Parliament/Funkadelic, The Micronauts or their popular revamp of Franz Ferdinand's 'Take Me Out'.

Also on the horizon for Daft Punk, it is rumoured that they could be creating the soundtrack for the new 'Tron' movie, following their previous work with the franchise. We can only hope that we will be getting a brand new album soon as this highly impressive duo have stayed under the radar for quite some time now. But in the meantime,The Many Faces Of Daft Punk: The Journey Through The Inner World Of Daft Punk is available to buy through Juno.
