Debbie Collaborates With Lucky Daye On the Heartfelt ‘Is This Real Love?’ Remix

Debbie widens her global reach by remixing her debut single ‘Is this Real Love?’, featuring award-winning R&B singer Lucky Day.

Originally produced by PRGRSJN, ‘Is This Real Love?’ acted as our first introduction to Debbie’s wonderful raw vocals, which so often stir the deepest feelings within us.

We feel the 0207 Def Jam signee's desire for a genius connection that goes beyond the physical and surface levels of social media and its repercussions on modern dating. She explores the feeling of love and reframes it with substance as she gives details on what else is required for a long-lasting and fulling relationship.

The 22-year-old south Londoner explores her thoughts with an open vulnerability as she cannot help but question the authenticity of it all as she sings “My expectations were to love and hold – Be one with the soul of whatever – But it feels like it was selling me dreams.”

In the remix Lucky Daye offers a male perspective that was missing, as he soulfully works to reassure Debbie of her worth as well as share his wonderment of being the reciprocation of that type of love.

Last year was arguably Debbie’s breakthrough year and allowed her to establish her talent as generational. The south Londoner featured on Stormzy’s critically-acclaimed album, ‘This is What I Mean’, whilst releasing four memorable singles building on the anticipation from the previous year.

Still not to drop a debut project yet, we cannot wait to experience what a project from Debbie would feel like.
