Grammy-Award winning dancehall legend Buju Banton has linked up with Patoranking for brand new single ‘African Soldier', a track that embodies unity, liberation and black excellence.

Produced by Jazzwad (Bounty Killer, Popcaan) ‘African Soldier’ is a powerful record that sees two worlds seamlessly collide, with Buju Banton’s distinctive Reggae sound mixed in with Patoranking’s infused Nigerian flavour, the track is the second single from Patoranking’s forthcoming fifth studio album, ‘African Soldier’

Dressed in all black and resembling the revolutionary Black Panthers, the visuals shot by Nigerian filmmaker UAX (Tyla, Rema) are so powerful and uplifting with flags from across the diaspora pinned to the background and dancers expressively moving through the warehouse space.

This beautiful record is an empowering union of two global voices, hopefully this is the first of many collaborations between Buju Banton and Patoranking!
