Baller League And Call Of Duty Bring Football Into A New Battleground

Baller League UK is taking its fourth season further into the world of gaming with Activision, welcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 as its official front of shirt partner. The collaboration places one of gaming’s biggest franchises directly into one of the UK’s fastest growing football formats, with every team entering the new season carrying the Modern Warfare 4 identity across their jerseys. It is a partnership built around the shared intensity of competition, bringing together two audiences accustomed to speed, strategy and moments that can change everything in an instant.

The relationship extends beyond branding on the pitch. At the Baller League Arena at Eastbrook Studios in Dagenham, the league will introduce a dedicated Games Room, giving players, managers and other league talent the opportunity to compete in live 3v3 Grudge Matches on the big screen. The format gives the partnership a physical presence within matchdays, turning gaming into another competitive layer of the Baller League experience and creating a space where the personalities of the league can compete away from the football pitch.

Matchday and halftime activations will further connect Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 with the Baller League audience, creating a crossover between the culture surrounding gaming and the energy of live football. Rather than treating the partnership as a conventional sponsorship, the ambition is to make the franchise part of the environment itself, allowing supporters to encounter Call of Duty through competition, interaction and entertainment throughout the season.

The scale of Baller League makes the collaboration particularly significant. Since launching in 2024, the league has quickly developed its own approach to football entertainment, with Season 3 generating 344 million short form views across social media and a 6% engagement rate. Matchdays attracted an average of 1.3 million unique live viewers, while the Final Four climbed to 1.85 million, underlining the reach of a format that has been designed around the way younger audiences consume sport.

With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 approaching its launch, the partnership places the game inside a football property already built around spectacle, personalities and digital culture. Baller League has found a natural counterpart in Activision, creating an ecosystem where the match, the screen and the gaming experience can exist within the same space. For Season 4, the pitch is only one part of the entertainment.
