Artists You Don't Want To Miss At Cross The Tracks

Cross The Tracks has very quickly become one of the UK’s leading music festival’s for jazz, funk, soul and hip-hop. Since debuting in 2019 the festival has already seen some of world’s biggest artists grace the stage including the icon that is Chaka Khan, Eve, En Vogue, Kelis, Masego and home grown talent such as Greentea Peng, Yussef Dayes, Children of Zeus, BADBADNOTGOOD and so many more, Cross The Tracks not only champions global superstars but it also continues to nurture and amplify some of the UK’s most well crafted musicians. 



Over the years Cross The Tracks has become so much more than just the music, it’s become a hub for culture, community, family and creativity within the heart of South London’s Brockwell park with so many incredible artists set to take the stage.


Free Nationals

This year you won’t want to miss the smooth sounding instrument list Free Nationals, who are best known as Anderson Paak’s live band, they’ve worked with the likes of Chronixx, Kali Uchis, Mac Miller, Syd (The Internet) and so many more. 


Sinéad Harnett

London R&B songstress Sinéad Harnett, who’s voice will give you instant goosebumps, her latest album 'Boundaries' is a stand out body of work that teaches you real life lessons, Thinking Less' is accompanied by sultry visuals, thought provoking lyrics with Sinéad's beautiful voice showcased on the record.


Bashy

West London rapper and 2x MOBO winner Bashy, who stole the show at last year’s MOBO Awards, which followed on from his triumphant re-entry into music as he delivered one of the UK’s most important hip-hop albums with his second studio album ‘Being Poor is Expensive’, ‘How Black Men Lose Their Smile’ is one of the records most powerful singles. 



Jaz Karis

Jaz Karis is another incredible singer from London who shouldn’t be missed she blends between R’n’B, soul and everything in between, a stand out tracks from her is ‘Petty Lover’, ‘SIDE OF YOU’ and ‘Soweto Blues’ (produced by Juls) as Jaz often lends her sweet sounding vocals to the Amapiano scene and beyond. 



Lynda Dawn

Last but not least and fairly new to the scene Lynda Dawn a soulful vocalist that taps into the genres of both jazz and funk, she first stormed onto the scene in 2019 with her debut album ‘At First Light’ and has seamlessly entered the music space with a transition as smooth as her sound, if you’re new to Lynda you’ll need to check out her single ‘Move’.
