If you’re a fan of Reggae, Dancehall, Jungle and anything else in between, Reggealand Festival is the only place you need to be, this two day event took place in the heart of Milton Keynes at the iconic National Bowl, a mesmerising hot spot which attracted more 95.000 attendees.

Each year of Reggealand is becoming bigger and better than the last, as the festival continues to amplify rising talent, sound system culture and showcase an array of headline acts on the main stage including Mavado, Dexta Daps, Capelton and Chronixx.

Now what makes Reggeland different from any other festival in the UK you may ask, is it the fact that Reggeland is always the first to exclusively host some of the world’s biggest Dancehall and Reggaeland acts? Or is it the way people of all walks of life joyfully come together for one weekend to embrace Caribbean music, culture and food? The answer is yes to all of the above and because of this Reggeland Festival will continue to thrive and stand the test of time, as one of the UK’s best reggae festivals, now here’s what went down:

Day 1 is where things kicked off, the main stage was the only place to be with Lila Ike blessing attendees with her sweet sweet vocals, finishing off her set with her infamous track ‘Where I’m Coming From’. Reggae singer Gyptian transported us back to the late 2000s serenading fans with hits like ‘Beautiful Lady’, ‘Nah Let Go’ and ‘Hold You’. Dexta Daps put on a show to remember with a live band and dancers to accompany the performance of his beloved anthems ‘Breaking News’, ‘7eleven’ and viral hit ‘Shabba Madda Pot’. Last but not least the day was finished up by the fireman himself, Capleton who lit up the stage in every way possible with his energetic performance of tracks ‘Who Dem’ and ‘That Day Will Come’.

Day 2 was spent exploring various stages including ‘Dub Records’, which truly had my heart playing the best in funky house, garage and later on the sweet sounds of reggae, amplified by the world renowned Saxon Sound. As the day went on and sun began to set it was time to witness the one and only Mavado who brought a relentless amount of energy to the stage and even surprised audiences with surprise guest Chip, where the two performed their timeless anthem ‘Every Gyal’.

Now it's not often you can go to a reggae festival and leave feeling uplifted and spiritually enlightened, however conscious reggae artist Chronixx did just that, as soon as he took to the stage he instantly captivated audiences with his presence as he performed tracks from the well beloved and Grammy-nominated album Chronology including ‘Majesty’, ‘Smile Jamaica, ‘Skankin Sweet’ and Free Nationals collab ‘Eternal Light’ alongside unreleased music from his upcoming album “Exile”, where we see Chronixx embark on a brand new musical journey. Whether they were brand new or classic Chronixx tracks, he truly knew how to touch the crowd with his meaningful lyrics, soft vocals and distinctive bass guitar heavy sound.

Reggaeland Festival 2026 will be hard to top as the last five years have been so phenomenal, tickets have already started selling out for next year and the line up hasn't even been announced yet.
