AmiiFy Enters His Turning Point With “Departed” and a Defining Run of Singles

Nigerian born, London based artist AmiiFy is stepping into a transformative chapter with the release of “Departed,” the final preview of his forthcoming debut EP Suddenly, Everything’s Changing, arriving March 3rd. Produced by multi platinum hitmaker Jake Gosling, the track leans fully into AmiiFy’s genre blurring instinct, weaving alternative indie textures through rock grit, pop melody, folk intimacy and R&B soul.

“Departed” sits in the emotional grey area of growth, unpacking the discomfort and clarity that comes with personal evolution, a theme that anchors the six track project. The single lands off the back of a landmark period for the rising creative. After selling out The Lower Third in Soho earlier this year, AmiiFy has seen his audience stretch far beyond London, with fans travelling from across Europe, including the Czech Republic, to witness his live performances.

Released alongside the track, the official video for “Departed” deepens its introspective weight, offering a visual counterpoint to the song’s unfiltered lyricism. It follows the momentum of previous singles including “Something Stupid” and the breakout “He Don’t Deserve You,” both of which sharpen his signature storytelling style, diaristic and emotionally exposed chaos of youth lived in real time.

These releases signify AmiiFy as a multidisciplinary narrator capturing the fragile, fast moving shifts in the new generation of music.
