A Look Inside BAPE’s New European Flagship Store, Located In The Heart Of London

With lockdown restrictions easing in the UK, most have jumped at the opportunity to go shopping after spending so long indoors. Following months of silence in the capital, the streets of London are filling with the hustle-and-bustle of eager store goers. Hence, A Bathing Ape’s new London store couldn’t have arrived at a better time.

Located at 24-25A Conduit Street in Mayfair, BAPE STORE®︎ LONDON is the Japanese streetwear brand’s new European flagship store. With four levels and 8,000 square feet of space – BAPE's new spot is the brand’s biggest store to date. After months of shopping restrictions, fans can now hop on a train to Central London and grab hold of a variety of bags, footwear, clothing, and accessories – including limited edition items from the Mastermind x A Bathing Ape collaboration and pieces exclusive to the UK.

Upon entering, customers are met by the store’s sleek and unique interior – made specifically to capture the 28-year evolution of BAPE. Founded in 1993 by Japanese designer Nigo, BAPE’s first store opened in Ura-Harajuku – the “underground” networks of Harajuku, Tokyo. In honour of the brand’s growth ever since, BAPE STORE®︎ LONDON effortlessly combines the brand’s past designs, logos, and patterns with their new and contemporary look.

With each floor of the store offering a completely different ambiance, BAPE customers are ensured a unique and stimulating shopping experience. BAPE STORE®︎ LONDON is also the start of the brand’s expansion into wider Europe.
