Addressing the ongoing feud between him and Drake, Ye acknowledged Kendrick's recent successes, for his diss track "Not Like Us." He remarked on the competitive nature of the industry and expressed respect for both artists' contributions to hip-hop. Almost sad at Drake's demise as he has seen Drake as a musical vessel to push him for years. Ye also noted that while Kendrick may have the upper hand currently, he believes Drake has the potential to make a strong comeback.
