Arguably one of the hottest names in the music industry right now, AntsLive is the guy that everyone is talking about, and everybody is listening to. Following a multitude of single releases, his recently released mixtape ‘Just A Matter Of Time’ propelled him from an underground prospect, into a key player in the modern music scene, and last night he showed exactly why this is the case. Taking to the stage for his headline show at OMEARA London, with special guests Blaze YL, JDK, Tejy and Jamo Beatz opening the show, it was electric from start to finish, with the intimacy of the venue and the energy from the crowd exemplifying the occasion.

His set stretched tracks that the originals will know in the form of ‘Brown Liquor’ and ‘Tweakin’, to his newer releases that anyone who listens to music now knows about. A modern-day maverick with his charismatic charm and unprecedented stage presence, the artist poured out glassed of Hennessy out for the fans at the front, and blessed a winner of his TikTok competition with a Trapstar pouch and a cash prize - a true man of the people. Meanwhile, Ants comes across a relatable character who genuinely cares as opposed to being a virtue signalling operator. The artist took time in the show to appreciate last week’s International Women’s Day, took time to reflect on his career growth, and also showed support for all the creatives working in the industry, providing a motivational monologue for positive progression.

Sometimes you see an artist perform live in the flesh and you just know there is a huge future ahead of them - AntsLive is the living embodiment of this. His energy is infectious, the music is next level, and the fanbase is as devoted as they come. A lot of people in the scene go around screaming they’re next up, but this guy, this guy is the number one candidate for the future of British music.
