The New Daily Paper Resort Collection Pays Homage To African Heritage

Last Friday, Daily Paper launched its latest Spring/Summer '22 Resort collection through a lookbook that incorporates warming tones into essentials for the hotter season.

In its new offering, the Amsterdam-based brand is celebrating the founders’ heritage through crochet styles, swimwear and core staples tinged with colours recalling the Ghanaian, Moroccan and Somali flags. The colour palette ranges from delicate beige, soft pastel and popping yellow and is applied across pieces such as crisp cargo sets, classic shirts, bucket hats and biker shorts with utility pockets, making this the ultimate summer collection.

Core items include a figure-hugging knee-length branded playsuit, a knitted waist-length cardigan and a big cotton beach bag. Pieces from previous collections are also making a reappearance, such as the Reslider in pastel green and baby blue tones, and the Remulti tee that here has been embellished with artwork on the back that reads the brand name in five of Africa‘s most commonly spoken languages.

The Daily Paper Resort Spring/Summer 2022 Resort collection is now available in the brand’s own flagship stores in Amsterdam, New York City and London, as well as online and selected retailers worldwide.
