Strands Shares Ode To Love On 'J’adore’

Take by Alpha Bravo Studios

South London's Strandz returns with his new romantically charming single 'J’Adore', once again exploring different aspects of love with his meticulous and melodic approach.

Following on from his past single ‘Us Against The World’ and the remix version featuring Ladbroke Groves' Digga D, Strandz recreates that iconic and nostalgic New York feel on the beat that we are becoming familiar with and has previously seeped into in his music.

Heavily inspired by the late 90s and early 2000s, the soundscape of ‘J’adore’ is made up of off-beat drums that provide a bouncy feel to it with delicate notes and synths sitting underneath.

Effortless in his ability to be personable in his raps every word is used to further extend the story that the rapper is intricately weaving.

Playfully, he raps one of the first encounters with his love interest, "expensive she gives me her number for free/and said if we get to dating boy the dinner ain’t cheap/ I said slide with me baby and we garn see now she love me...”

Elaborating on 'J’Adore', Strandz says “From the start I was trying to make something to get people moving on the dance floor but once I had the melodies layered I knew it had to be about love. The lyrics explore different aspects of a relationship and love in general and the video reflects that perfectly.”

Currently trending on YouTube the accompanying video filmed in London and the city of lights Paris is directed by Alpha Bravo Studios.

Featuring Strandz and his girlfriend we see Strandz make his way over to her as he journeys across cities to meet her at the studio. The camera also visits a collection of colour characters who also play out their own romantic situation.

The Croydon rapper is steadily emerging as one of the most exciting up-and-coming rappers to come out of this new crop.
