Silent Addy Features Skillibeng and Rema on New Single ‘Ballerina’

Having run 2025 as the producer of the hit single ‘Shake It To The Max’ by Ghanaian-American singer MOLIY, Jamaican producer Silent Addy returns with another banger titled ‘Ballerina’.

Featuring fellow Jamaican creative Skillibeng and Nigerian superstar Rema, ‘Ballerina’ is an intercontinental collaboration that pairs Rema’s melodic innovation with Skillibeng’s distinct cadence.

The track is co-produced by Disco Neil, the other member of the Jamaican-born, Miami-based production and DJ duo Bashment Sound, and is a seamless fusion where Kingston grit meets Afrobeats finesse.

Although titled ‘Ballerina’, the track has nothing to do with ballerinas or ballet as a whole. It’s an R-rated erotic dancehall song about making a lady hit bedroom poses that are similar to a ballerina’s moves.

Skillibeng delivers his catchy flow on the first verse and the hook. Shining on the second verse, Rema breaks new ground with his versatility by rapping in Jamaican patois.

Accompanied by a music video whose theme tilts towards the track title, an actual ballerina is seen dancing ballet throughout the visual. Directed by South African prodigy Miklas Manneke, the video flickers between coloured and black-and-white effects.

Working further with masterminds, the visual was produced by WeOwnTheCity, a production studio founded by Colombian-American photographer STILLZ who was the creative director of Bad Bunny’s critically acclaimed 2026 Super Bowl LX halftime show.

Bashment Sound are bridging Dancehall, Shatta, Afrobeats, and global club culture. Thereby, defining the next wave of Caribbean-influenced music. The production duo has silently built one of the most influential Caribbean music platforms in Miami, transforming a grassroots party series into a globally sought-after brand.

‘Ballerina’ also marks the second time that Bashment Sound and Skillibeng are uniting on a song, as the latter made an appearance on the remix of ‘Shake It To The Max’.
