Rowlene returns with her second single of the year ‘Only’ featuring WurlD

Is all about the simplicity of love as Rowlene delivers a heartfelt and genuine gesture to be involved in a healthy relationship where the lines are drawn not blurred and appreciation is housed for noticing the little gestures to show that you care.

There is a warmth that is hard to deny in the award-winning songstress's voice that wraps around you as she affectionally sings with silky smoothness. That feeling is even further added by the sensual sonic texture that is constructed from an offbeat percussion instrument and interwoven syths.

Making music since 2015, the Cape town born songstress worked with Nigerian artist WurlD. Wurld compliments the song as he sings “Let me embrace every part of you and give you the best of me.” adopting his uniquely mellowy tone that serenades you with flair.

Speaking on the creative process of “Only” Rowlene shares: “WurlD and I hadn’t met until the song was complete. The collaboration was effortless and organic.

Also explaining what music lovers can expect from her EP, the singer says “‘Frequency’ has so many definitions, from science to math, it is a significant observation that always hints to 'more'.

“This project follows exactly that notion. Each song represents a twist or turn

in the journey, we call finding love and sometimes ourselves.”
