Mishra, long celebrated for transforming the way Indian couture is seen on a global stage, lends his distinctive artistic language to the world’s most iconic Scotch whisky. Known for his intricate embroideries, painterly use of colour, and a philosophy rooted in mindful luxury, Mishra has built a career around celebrating India’s artisanal heritage. His work has been worn by the likes of Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Lisa of BLACKPINK, and image architect Law Roach.

For this collaboration, Mishra’s visual storytelling finds a new canvas: the Blue Label bottle and its presentation pack. His design draws inspiration from the rhythm of Indian culture, its rituals, gatherings, and layered traditions, infusing the timeless whisky with a spirit of festivity. The result is a piece that bridges heritage with modern luxury, honouring both the artistry of local craftspeople and the meticulous processes behind Blue Label.

Reflecting on the partnership, Mishra shares that the project felt like a natural meeting point: “Johnnie Walker Blue Label has always stood for excellence and celebration. Understanding the detail and patience behind each bottle resonated deeply with me. Much like couture, it’s about respecting time, skill, and the people who keep traditions alive. To merge these values has been a very meaningful journey.”

Johnnie Walker, a name synonymous with craftsmanship and sophistication, mirrors Mishra’s ethos of thoughtful creation. Together, they step into the season not only with a collector’s edition but with a story that champions legacy, artistry, and connection.
