The original is a relatable sound speaking to the cliche things men seem to say to rekindle a relationship with a significant other. The song is an aloof response to those attempts, a fun but strong message with a nice tempo to dance to.

Prince Dee Jr takes the record and adds a male perspective to the record, bringing a great balance to the story and creating a new dynamic while keeping the fun energy of the record with a smooth flow and seamless storytelling. Prince adds two verses to the song that smoothly interact with Dinah's vocals and injecting new life into the record.
