Mr Eazi Surprises Fans With New Single "The Don" And Announces Upcoming Project

The prodigious Nigerian hitmaker Mr Eazi is back with his single, “The Don” in preparation for his new project entitled “Something Else” dropping on the 19th of February. Mr Eazi is well-known for pioneering Banku music and blending this eccentric sound with the contemporary West African pop genre, Afrobeats. Mr Eazi also gathers musical inspiration from genres such as highlife, R&B, hip-hop, and more! “The Don” produced by Killertunes and E Kelly, offers genre-bending vibrations unleashing rhythmic melodies, hypnotic basslines, and good vibes. Mr Eazi had a busy 2020, mentioning, “I spent the entire year working on building emPawa Africa and morphing into ‘Don Eazi’, the mogul. I almost had no time to record. This project was inspired by Kel P and Killertunes, who kept coming to meet me in Accra until I finally recorded ‘The Don.’ That opened the door for me getting back in the studio”. Mr Eazi has not only been recording his new project but building emPawa Africa – a talent incubation initiative to support rising and gifted African artists.
