Mnelia Shares New Single 'Brozone'

UK R&B artist Mnelia returns with her highly refreshing new single ‘Brozone’ as she attempts to ward off unwanted advances from a close male friend.

With a slight sway and easy-going tone, ‘Brozone’ is the type of song that you can sing along to and dance to despite the lyrics being an expression of frustration and annoyance at not being heard.

Produced by Nosa Apollo, who has worked with the likes of Ella Mai, Craig David and Joy Crookes, the track provides a complementary space for Mnelia’s lush tones and soft heavenly vocals.

Speaking on the track, Mnelia explains: "Brozone is a fun light hearted vibe, sassy and cheeky. I have been making a lot of slower, more personal music for this project and this day in the studio was more of a vibe. Brozone just feels like a perfect way to end the summer, and lead into autumn"

Last year saw Mnelia release 'My Man', a catchy tongue-in-cheek track which created enough momentum off the back of a well-received EP the year before.

This year however, has seen Mnelia perform with Mahalia at Southbank Meltdown Festival, curated by Little Simz and introduce a new chapter in her career which started with 'Starsigns'.
