The coat is followed by pieces that share a motif of lips, a reference to the narrative around Olivier’s lips online. The message is further emphasised through the influence of the Congolese subculture ‘La Sape’. La Sape, short for "Société des Ambianceurs et des Personnes Élégantes" (Society of Ambiance-Makers and Elegant People), is a cultural movement that originated in the Republic of the Congo. Inspired by its principles, the collection embodies profound teachings, urging one to disregard the idle talk of those who are ignorant and uninformed. The pieces reflect the subculture on both aesthetics and ethics. Characterised by an emphasis on colourful, flamboyant, and stylish dressing, La Sape is not just about fashion; it also carries a sense of pride, identity, and a unique expression of individuality. Balmain flawlessly communicates these ideals through colourful combinations, commanding silhouettes, tailored suits, and high waistlines.

Featuring the work of Ghanaian visual artist Prince Gyasi, the pieces seamlessly transition from black and white ensembles adorned with accents of red to vivid and highly saturated colours.
