LIVE: MIRAA MAY TAKES OVER HERE AT OUTERNET

North London songstress Miraa May mesmerised her fans at the stunning Outernet in London, the night instantly emulated her essence, heritage and journey. Full of female empowerment, guest appearances from a plethora of UK talent, the show was a stand out for fans and friends.




Renowned for having one of the strongest pengame’s in the UK, video footage saw Miraa surrounded by regular collaborators Jorja Smith, Mnelia, Bellah and so many more familiar faces, alongwith nostalgic images of a young Miraa May. While placing herself onto her throne, the ‘Tales of a Miracle’ unfolded in front of our very eyes.

Since the release of her debut album earlier in the year, Miraa May has been a warrior for females, highlighting mental health, motherhood, relationships and her Algerian heritage, (which she proudly showcased throughout the show). The songstress did nothing but put her heart on sleeve as she performed every single heartfelt track from ‘Tales of a Miracle’ and kept fans entertained with her bubbly persona. Fan favourite ‘Go Girl’ (featuring RAYE) showcased her vibrant side, ‘Anxiety’ exhibited a variety of vulnerable emotion’s and a surprise appearance was made by singer songwriter Mahalia for ‘Good Times’. While sampling the infamous 90’s track ‘Take Me There’ by Blackstreet and Mya, ‘Tight Tight’ witnessed a union between Minelia and Mirra May for this sensual performance.

The second half of the show was filled with nostalgia, Mirra switched from her traditional clothing (that can be seen on her album cover) to a cute and colourful bodycon dress. Her day one fans revealed themselves as she sang an abundance of classic Miraa May tracks, starting with singles from her 2018 EP ‘Care Package’ including ‘Make Room’, ‘Regardless’ and ‘Sad’. Taking us back to where it all began, fans were truly moved by the abundance of throwback performances, as Mirra May sang ‘Commit’ from her acclaimed EP ‘N15’, followed by a beautiful rendition of the guitar led single ‘R.O.D’. The excitement didn’t stop there as Mirra May was joined by a few more special guests including Louis Rei for their rhythmic collaboration of ‘Lemme Talk’, Haile for the soothing ‘Say Yeah’ and Coltrane for the slick single ‘Rendezvous’.

The finale of the show gave fans an insight into the deluxe edition of ‘Tales Of a Miracle’, alongside an exclusive performance to the amapiano infused remix of her spiritual hit ‘Nobody’. An evening like this was truly a dream to witness, the musician showcased strength and growth, Mirra May is a singer-songwriter who never holds back in regard to her music and is set to have one of her best years yet.
