kwn Confesses To Being A 'hopeless romantic’ On New Single

East London singer, songwriter, and producer kwn shares her latest offering, the infatuated ‘hopeless romantic’ as she segways from the usual, thrilling encounters, for something much, much sweeter - manifests the type of love she wants.

Still, however, embodying the spirit of a rockstar, at least musically for the first twenty seconds of ‘Hopeless Romantic’, a riff is played by an electric guitar that thrums, with the occasional staccato drum beat, arguably tricks you into what you’re going to be expecting but it perfectly encapsulates an air of anticipation.

Her first release of 2026, kwn is grounded in the present; she is experiencing a gentler kind of love which doesn’t take anything away from its intensity.

Wistful, hopefully and softer, she's manifesting, and confessing, singing softly, like a secret at first, but quickly emboldened by the feeling, she declares that she wants a healthy love and all that comes with. Passion and lust are traded in for tenderness and care. A best friend is what she craves more than anything.

Dreaming while wide awake, the song is affectionate and light. Kwn herself is unrushed. You can hear the smile on her lips as the words are sung sweetly to her partner in an act of vulnerability. She sings the chorus, “I want somebody that will choose me every day, I don’t want to ever lose the honeymoon phase. I’m a hopeless romantic.”

Last year kwn released her critically lauded EP, with all due respect, a nine-track body of work featuring standout tracks such as ‘do what i say’ and ‘back of the club’.

This year, she is starting a North American Spring 2026 Tour, which begins on March 5th, Vancouver, BC, at the Vogue Theatre.
