Kate Moss Presents Second Zara Collection As An Ode to Individual Style and Cultural Cool

Updated: Jun 6

Supermodel, style icon and cultural tastemaker Kate Moss returns for her second collaboration with global fashion powerhouse Zara, unveiling the Spring/Summer 2025 collection with an effortless mix of elegance, rock and roll attitude, and archival flair. Following the critical and commercial success of her Autumn/Winter debut, Moss partners once again with her long-time creative collaborator, legendary stylist Katy England, for a collection that channels their shared love for one-of-a-kind fashion finds and subversive glamour.

This season, however, marks a new chapter, not only for Moss and England, but also for Zara, with the introduction of a menswear line overseen by none other than Bobby Gillespie, frontman of Primal Scream and a long-time friend of Moss. Making his fashion design debut, Gillespie injects a sharp, louche sensibility into the men's offering, combining his rock heritage with tailored refinement. His contribution adds depth and cultural weight to what is already one of the most anticipated Zara collections of the year.

Rooted in personal nostalgia and global discovery, the Spring/Summer 2025 collection is a celebration of sartorial storytelling. Kate and Katy returned to Moss’s expansive archive, revisiting treasured pieces that have defined her personal style over decades. “Nothing matches the feeling of finding a one-off piece,” Kate reflects. “Just wow. The piece that only you own.” It's this emotion, part discovery, part self-expression, that drives the DNA of the new collection.

Moss has lovingly remodelled a series of her most iconic vintage finds, from dusty thrift stores in small-town America to the polished showrooms of Paris and Milan, reimagining them for a wider audience without sacrificing their original charm. The result is a line-up of Kate classics reworked for today: slip dresses with grunge-era sensuality, military jackets that speak to rock rebellion, and floaty, romantic silhouettes perfect for festival season and beyond.

True to Moss's vision, the collection is about accessibility as much as aspiration. It blurs the lines between high fashion and streetwear, music and runway, femininity and androgyny, anchored in Moss’s belief that great style is personal, unexpected, and sometimes just a lucky find.

With the inclusion of Gillespie's debut menswear capsule, the collection speaks to a wider cultural narrative, one where music, fashion, and attitude are inseparable. Zara’s continued partnership with Moss is an ongoing evolution of timeless cool, curated by one of the most influential figures in fashion history.
