Jorja Smith Unveils New Track 'Bussdown' Featuring Shaybo

Shot in Jorja's hometown of Walsall, she and South London artist Shaybo take things in a new direction with a jazzy blues style number. As the pair are shown in the visuals as hustling mechanics who go one to treat themselves with handfuls of jewels, the director Fenn O'Meally stated that he had to create a special concept for the track.

"I remember the exact moment I thought about the two of them being mechanics.... i'm not sure why, maybe I’ve been mansplained to too many times, but it just is very epic to see two very beautiful and powerful women completely boss a very male dominated world. I’m so grateful to both Jorja and Shaybo for trusting a crazy concept and making it their own."

Taken from her freshly-released 8-track project Be Right Back that was released today (14th May), she brings an emotive and introspective stance that are both incredibly diverse and cohesive.

“It’s called be right back because it’s just something I want my fans to have right now, this isn’t an album and these songs wouldn’t have made it. If I needed to make these songs, then someone needed to hear them too.”
