Expressing his desire and disbelief in a sharp and intense falsetto, Johnny Venus risks drowning in his own wonder as he marvels at the love of his life on his newest single 'So Beautiful'.

Likening it to a drag, Venus croons and serenades to stir up an overflow of emotions, with airiness. Venus, to most ears, sounds familiar because Johnny Venus is the alias of Olu, one half of EarthGang, who has decided to put out some singles solo as he works towards a debut solo project, Earth 2 Olu.

Released via Sincethe80s/EPIC, deeply romantic, we hear Venus on the hide neo-soul record ‘So Beautiful’ without shying away from his own vulnerability or feelings.

Hitting the high notes with ease, and delivering lyrics in falsetto, against warm percussive elements and gentlely strummed acoustic gituar chords, he sings: “Don’t waste another moment my love, We only have the seconds that God gave us."

The track features 6lack, on the track, the Atlanta R&B artist providing an extra texture as he softly delivers his words soothingly over the warm sun stroked acoustic guitar-based beat and percussive elements, breathing affectionately over it, shares his hopes for his budding relationship.
