Jarreau Vandal Joins Forces With Kojey Radical and Gaidaa On New Single 'Nothing Nice'

In the lead up to his upcoming EP, 'Suburb Superhero: The Villain Within', Jarreau Vandal releases his collaborative lead single entitled 'Nothing Nice.'

The Dutch Producer and DJ joined forces with fellow upcoming Dutch-Sudanese artist Gaidaa, and East London rapper, Kojey Radical, to bring forth an incredibly timely song that explores being thankful during rough situations. Despite being produced last year, it could not have come at a better time. Jarreau explains “Working with Kojey, was amazing, the song is about dealing with problems and struggles but still being thankful for everything. I’m really happy to have Gaidaa on the chorus - couldn’t have had a better person to sing those lines."

Although the sonics of the track are quite mellow, utilised by the moulding of a dark haunting beat and Kojey Radical's raspy voice, the lyricism and Gaidaa's soothing tone lift the track up into what is a comforting and tranquil song.

Jarreau Vandal is a firm staple in the Dutch beats and club scene, and his EP, which is out June 19th, is an exploration into his explosive global sets across the world, from Sydney to Bali. Coming from a small neighbourhood in Amsterdam, his affiliation with LA based collective Soulection as their Dutch ambassador, has taken him across the world and it is these experiences that are showcases in the 7 track EP.
