Bringing back that nostalgic 90s sound, East London rapper Isatta Sheriff shares the introspective ‘Window Thoughts’ as she and North London’s Lex Amor provide honest and penetrating lyricism over a jazz layered beat, The track was produced by Korella who has in the past, worked with South London jazz-rap group Summers Sons.
Melancholic and nonchalant in nature, the pair flow over the beat, smoothly navigating the pitfalls of their respective journeys whilst striving for self-improvement and touching on Isatta's late father’s death and the grief still felt.
Speaking on the single Isatta said: “While listening to the melodies I began to imagine myself staring into space at my kitchen window, and reflecting on various elements of my musical journey. I ended up purposefully going down to that window and allowing those thoughts to materialise so they would flow into lyrics and eventually become Window Thoughts.”

Not limiting herself to being a music artist, the ex-Arsenal and Spurs Ladies footballer currently runs Doctored Sound. Doctored Sound is Isatta's own record label and in her spare time outside of creating music, performing and running her label she also works as a music consultant for BBC The Rap Game UK.
Keeping the momentum going, Isatta Sheriff's upcoming project Eat The Kiwi Skin official release date is September 23rd . The album will be found occupying the same soundscape as 'Window Thoughts' smooth rap on jazz-laced beats that oozes with nostalgia.
