Gianni Mae follows on from the success of her debut EP “Saucy”, by gifting us with her first official single of the year entitled, “On A High”.

This track is a showcase for the musicians versatility, as she steers away from the fiercely empowering raps and trap sonics that characterised her last project. To unveil a softer, more sensual side of her femininity; whilst tinting the trap-inspired backdrop with an R&B ambience. 

Her lyrics explore a relationship that has been through it’s fair share of troubles, however it only makes them stronger. During she explores her insecurities, overcoming ups and downs while remaining completely faithful in the power of love.

Gianni Mae wants “On A High” to get across an important message, speaking on the track she assures her listeners. “When you go through tough times together you’ll come out stronger together. In the end everything will be alright.”
