Following a Two-Year Hiatus, Harleighblu is Back and Stuntin'

Hailed as the new queen of soul in the UK, Harleighblu has ascended back into her infectious and earthy essence comparable to the likes of Amy Winehouse. Following her two-year “forced” hiatus, her latest single Stuntin is taken from Harleighblu’s third studio album Crown, date TBA. Following the success of her last project She in 2019, Harleighblu has kept fans wondering which direction her music will take. But it is clear, we will not be disappointed.

The almost 4-minute track is assembled with a Boombap inspired production over lyricism and harmonies that encapsulates the form of the perfect summer anthem. In a recent interview, Harleighblu describes the single as “A glow-up song. A ‘Mood’ song. A song that says No ‘f’s’ given! A ‘my situationship will not define me’ song! Something to uplift women.” The video accompanying the single does just that, featuring the soulful singer in an off-white backdrop, vivid pink jacket, and boots, and a red fur hat, illustrating the immensely vibrant and infectious character of Harleighblu.

Over the last few years, she has been honing her sound into a straight-talking, unapologetic lyricist while keeping the synchronisations of her golden, raw sound. Described by critics as “if you were to assign a physical incarnation to a song, the latest track from Harleighblu would be fold upon fold of caramel.” Be sure to keep an eye-out for her next album and stream Stuntin today!
