Throughut his career, Dave has consistently held his position as a storyteller with one of the most exciting narratives to offer within the UK music scene. The announcement, recieved with much anticipation from fans, marks the first full length release from the multi award-winning musician since the critically acclaimed 2019 album Psychodrama and 2021's We’re All Alone in This Together.

The Boy Who Played the Harp will be the first release from Dave since 2023, when self-produced Central Cee collaboration ‘Sprinter’ broke the record for the longest running #1 rap record in UK chart history, skyrocketing past his 2022 single ‘Starlight’ which had previously set the record for longest-running No.1 solo UK track, as well as charting as the first UK No.1 by a sole writer and producer in 8 years.
