The zine documents the behind the scenes process of shooting artwork for the release of Love is Long, which consists of the two tracks 'Lately' featuring Bel Cobain and 'Too Much'. With the visuals for 'Too Much'' having been released at the start of the month, the zine focuses on the creative processes of that track at the start, with the other half of the zine detailing 'Lately'. The zine is made up of a handful of components such as words from Danny, lyrics from his two singles and photographs shot on 35mm by his manager Lauren Arch.
Hailing from South London, Danny Sanchez is a singer and rapper who reflections on the trials and tribulations of everyday life. With the constant battles and struggles that surround us, he contrasts the brittle realities with soulful vocals and R&B rap styles to formulate a distinct sound. His hispanic background is reflected within his music as he incorporates Spanish into his songwriting.
By working with his long-term collaborating producer Kxmel, Danny has offered us his most exciting and introspective piece of work to date, with unique storytelling and an R&B sound, he produces unmatched styles of performance. With 'Lately' telling the story of a hurt woman learning how to trust again, it focuses on the female perspective. 'Too Much' shows us an honest and reflective side of Danny that is the most relatable, along with an astounding vocal.
