Daniel Caesar Returns With 'Case Study 01'

Daniel Caesar made huge waves within R&B back in 2017 with his album Freudian. The album became a worldwide success and won him a Grammy Award. The singer teased that new music would be arriving soon earlier this week on Social Media. A day later, he had dropped his full length project since Freudian titled Case Study 01. Case Study 01 consists of 10 tracks and boasts some pretty big and impressive features. With a mix of both solo material and features, the project has appearances from Pharrell, John Mayer, Brandy and more. In an interview with Apple, Daniel stated that he fell into depression after the release of Freudian due to artistic pressures, social media and the isolating factors that come with fame. Case Study 01 is a lot denser in regards to lyrical material in a sense that it faces topics such as loneliness, good and evil, God, death and more. Love Again which features no other than the R&B legend that is Brandy is a dreamy duet which is a personal favourite. Duets have always played a big part within Caesar's music, Get You with Kali Uchis followed by Best Part featuring H.E.R are both tracks which have been certified platinum and charted.
