Daily Paper, the Amsterdam-born label celebrated for weaving stories of the diaspora into modern streetwear, has teamed up with trailblazing eyewear innovators Oakley to reimagine an icon. The result is striking new take on Oakley’s classic Gascan frame, unveiled as part of a fresh collaboration out now.

Having long styled looks with Oakley shades, Daily Paper now transforms that subtle nod into something more official, a project that unites Oakley’s technical mastery in high-performance eyewear with Daily Paper’s commitment to community and global youth culture. The design reworks the familiar Gascan silhouette through an Afro-Futurist lens, infusing it with Daily Paper’s unmistakable visual language and a nod to a generation determined to honour the past while reshaping what’s next.


Cissé is a key feature in the project, a figure whose journey through sport and fashion makes him the perfect symbol for this partnership’s energy. Almost two decades on from his first Oakley campaign in 2006, his return for this collaboration brings things full circle, this time refracted through Daily Paper’s unique creative eye. Together, Daily Paper and Oakley invite their communities to see differently: to move boldly, live authentically, and redefine the future on their own terms.
