Cautioning her love interests' behaviour, Coco Jones issues a warning for them to act right after tiring from their lack of seriousness on her newest single ‘Sweep It Up’.
The track is a follow-up to the warmly received and 70s soul-inspired ballad ‘Here We Go (Uh Oh)’ and a further look into the singer/songwriter’s upcoming album, with a release date currently not revealed.
‘Sweep It Up’ is Released via High Standardz/ Def Jam and perfectly captures the conflicting feelings that people experience when they find themselves being played with. Despite knowing she deserves better, she is reluctant to move on so permanently.
Reflected in her distinct rich tone over a more upbeat production. She sings “Something about you I can’t let go / And you make me question all I know of / should have been my baby, what’s the hold up?”
Speaking about the single Coco says, "I am so excited to give the world an uptempo R&B bop… I’ve been waiting on this for awhile”.
