BURNA BOY & J BALVIN TAKE US ON A “ROLLERCOASTER” IN NEW MUSIC VIDEO

Last year, Nigerian sensation Burna Boy blessed us with Love Damini, his 6th studio album, and most internationally featured project so far. This March, the singer-songwriter takes us on a ride and gifts us the official music video for 'Roller Coaster' featuring Colombian star J Balvin.

Directed by Loris Russier, the Grammy award-winning stars are placed at the center of LA's Lafayette Theater. Both musical talents express a whirlwind of emotions as their night becomes a place of reflection for their undeniable success.

Burna Boy's musical achievements are something many of us have been able to witness over the years. From the UK's 2022 top summer tune Last Last becoming the fastest Afrobeat song in history to reach certified platinum, to earlier bodies of work such as the 12-track album Outside. The artist lives up to his name as the African Giant by taking on new heights and reaching wider audiences with the help of his Afro and Latin fused song with J Balvin, Burna sings:

I don't want you to dey waste my time, I don't wanna wait 'til it's all over, This life is a gift from the most high Jah, that is why I'm thankful for all I have.

Though the lyrics depicted are a clear indication of his gratitude towards his journey so far, the musical talent speaks into existence, making a return to Coachella's stage this spring and being announced as Dreamville Music Festival's special guest- which will feature headliners J Cole, Drake, and Usher, this year it is set to be another trip of thrills and enjoyment for the Port Harcourt born artist.
