He thinks about being on the road and hints at the reasoning behind it he raps “ Wilmslow Road in my 110's / I write the words in Strangeways like it's a cold pen/ Crown court magistrates, I really know them / But do they know why I had to throw my old knife /On a cold night, I was a low-life."
The accompanying music video for ‘Old Friends’, directed by WHATSESAYING, takes a nostalgic approach that reflects the mood of the track. You see the streets of Manchester as Bugzy Malone knows it, the places that have shaped him into the person he is.
