Amanda Reifer Releases Soulful Single ‘Woman Now’

Want, need and desire are three intangible things that Amanda Reifer becomes familiar with on the soulful ‘Woman Now’, her latest R&B and Pop-inspired offering.

Released via Title 9/Atlantic Records, the track sees Amanada take control of her own agency; defining her own sense of womanhood over a production split of harmonious dissonant echoes in the background that are deafened out by snap-stick percussion and jarring minor keyed piano notes.

After parting from a past relationship, and being left unsatisfied from her current one, Amanda frank with her newfound self-assurance expresses the idea to go back to a former partner despite the  trouble it would cause.

The Bajan sings with a hypnotic tone, “Maybe I just fantasise this one, stay on my mind no damage done, ‘cause no turning back if it’s one on one, me on my back then it’s done and done.”

The song itself, playfully ponders the question, before giving in to ultimately what she wants and despite debuting the song on  A COLORS SHOW performance, she has now released an official audio track too.

Reifer has also announced that her solo debut album, The Reifer Files will be released in spring 2025.
