A Jewellers Presents Latest Masterpiece with Custom White Gold For Asake

A Jewellers continues to redefine the boundaries of contemporary jewelry design with a striking new commission for Afrobeat sensation Asake. Known for bold creativity and technical mastery, the London-based house has created a custom piece that encapsulates both the discipline and the free spirit driving Asake’s meteoric rise.

The necklace, weighing 600 grams of white gold and set with 213.45 carats of VVS diamonds, is as much a work of art as it is a piece of luxury jewelry. Its centrepiece, a soldier balanced on a skateboard, tells the story of duality in the life story of the artist. The soldier symbolises structure and focus while the skateboard speaks to liberation, creativity, and the unpredictability of artistic life. Suspended from a bullet-link chain, the design is a visual narrative of Asake’s merging of cultural references with deeply personal meaning.

Asake spoke on, the imagery resonating with his creative philosophy by saying, “Being a soldier and skateboarding helps me create movement and physicality in my life and work, richer artistic expression,” he explains. That energy has carried him from Lagos to global stages, collaborating with artists including Central Cee, Tems, Travis Scott, and J Hus, while earning multiple Brit and Grammy nominations along the way.

Since its founding in 2008 by Abtin Abbassi, A Jewellers has established itself as a leader in bespoke design, bringing luxury jewelry into dialogue with music, culture, and streetwear. From one-of-a-kind pendants to rare watches, Abbassi’s vision has positioned the brand at the centre of contemporary jewelry, crafting pieces that tells stories and define a personal era for the owner.

With this latest creation for Asake, A Jewellers once again demonstrates its ability to merge technical brilliance with cultural storytelling, cementing its reputation as the jeweller of choice for a new generation of icons.
