ZILVER Launches London Flagship Store Alongside SS22 Collection

Now open to the public, sustainable clothing label ZILVER has launched its first flagship store in Soho. The much-awaited launch follows the success of the label’s London pop-up store, which opened last October.

The label’s commitment to sustainability is incorporated throughout the store – ensuring that its ethos is never lost on its visitors. Built on the ideas of nature and futurism, ZILVER’s exterior consists of a living garden and recycled aluminium columns that contrast the hustle-and-bustle of the surrounding Central London neighbourhood. Inside, visitors will find LEDs embedded into clothing rails and floor-to-ceiling mirrors, along with a supersized screen showing ZILVER’s runway – reinforcing the store's galactic theme.

To accompany the store’s opening, ZILVER has released its SS22 collection VIRGO 1. Outlined as “clinical, galactical [and] sharp”, the drop contains several references – from astronaut uniforms, coding and orthopaedic braces to Hender Scheme’s Lexus LF-Z concept car. With the brand focused heavily on sustainability, VIRGO 1's pieces are made from materials such as recycled wool and organic cotton. Cactus leather and apple leather are also among the list of materials used – both of which are PETA-approved.

Alongside the ready-to-wear collection, exclusive hybrid pieces have also been launched in-store. Visitors can find trench coats that transform into jumpsuits, bomber jackets that switch into vests and skirts that can also be utilised as trousers.

“After testing the retail experience, we understand that the products attract enough attention to warrant a store. It happened organically” Says Pedro Lourenço, founder and creative director of ZILVER. “We live in such a digital world and everything is focused on shopping online; there’s something grounding about being able to experience and try on clothes in a physical space.”
