Tems Releases New EP If Orange Was A Place And Signs With SINCE ‘93/RCA RECORDS

After being announced as Apple Music's Up Next Artist with an alluring and wholesome sound like no other the emerging Lagos, Nigeria-based singer/songwriter Tems releases her new EPIf Orange Was A Place.


Tems has been putting in overtime work and it shows! This stands way before her captivating Essence feature with Afrobeat heavyweight WizKid as the young talent has now surpassed him as Spotify's most streamed African artist and the wins do not stop there...The enthralling EP release comes with the announcement of her signing with Since ‘93/RCA Records; quickly rising through the music scene, Tems is making moves by performing her single Crazy Tings from the EP on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on the 29th September.


On top of the release of her new music, Tems is also set to grace the western stages with her presence at her first U.S headlining shows coming up the next few weeks in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago along with a set at Afropunk ATL.


Including the previously released single feature with Baltimore, Maryland R&B based singer-songwriter and producer Brent Faiyaz and overall production from Guilty Beatz and Jonah Christian, the EP serves as a follow-up to her recent EP For Broken Ears. Speaking on the project the songstress says the new EP is about more than just her and that she wants to use her music to bolster Nigeria’s place on the world stage and help bring through even more artists from her home country.
