SBTV marks 20 years with landmark O2 celebration honouring Jamal Edwards' legacy

Twenty years after changing the landscape of British music, SBTV is celebrating its legacy with a landmark event at London's O2 on 11 November, bringing together some of the artists who helped define the platform's impact on UK culture.

Held in association with the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust, SBTV 20 will celebrate the life and vision of the late Jamal Edwards MBE while raising money and awareness for the charity that continues his mission of creating opportunities for young people.

The first wave of artists has now been announced, featuring Wiley, Chip, Lady Leshurr, Big Narstie, Dappy, Tinchy Stryder, Scorcher, Roll Deep, Professor Green, WSTRN, Yungen, DJ Target, Kenny Allstar, Kyla, Nolay, Griminal and Kasst 8, with more names still to come.

Rather than feeling like a typical anniversary concert, SBTV 20 reflects the influence the platform has had across multiple generations of British music. From grime pioneers and artists who found an early audience through SBTV to those continuing its legacy today, the line-up highlights just how far Jamal Edwards' vision has reached.

Few platforms have shaped the UK's music landscape quite like SBTV. For countless artists, it provided an early opportunity to be seen, helping launch careers while documenting pivotal moments in grime, rap and British music culture. Two decades on, its influence remains impossible to ignore.

With further announcements still to come, SBTV 20 is already shaping up to be one of the standout moments in this year's live music calendar. Tickets for SBTV 20 at The O2 on 11 November are available via the official registration page.
