PFW SS25 - Isabel Marant, Fantastic Fringes & Fabulous Frills

Isabel Marant had summer in her grip when she showcased her latest collection. It was quintessentially bohemian and in tune with what we hope to see from her eponymous brand.

The screen behind the models resembling the sun setting over the desert was the perfect backdrop for the chic and cutesy clothes. Bare skin and untied hair provided the necessary nonchalance needed to propagate the essence of Isabel Marant.

Frills, fringes, frocks and flats were the main elements of the collection. Bare skin was one of the accessories used to denote the summery feeling. Satchel bags, gladiator sandals, and statement ear and neck pieces all combined to lean into the desert princess, Amazonian moment Isabel had referenced.

All in all, a collection with the potential to be commercially successful if marketed well, simply due to Isabel’s craft as well as her ability to provide something fresh whilst retaining her brand’s codes, a strategy which works extremely well with her staunch supporters.
